Vibrational Medicine
We should also be aware that some of the apparently new insights presented in this budding field of vibrational medicine come from the ancient roots of recorded history.
In India, the use of different vibrations of various gems for healing has been practiced for thousands of years. This is also true with sound and color therapies. Furthermore, although not widely understood in the west, there is a strong tradition in the Chinese Tao of using flowers for healing and conscious growth.
The philosophical and scientific basis for vibrational healing can be found in such ancient philosophies as the Vedas and Kashmir shavism, as well as in the Gospel according to John which says, "In the beginning was the Word" - the Word implying the primal sound vibration. This philosophical and scientific basis can also be found in Einstein's theory of relativity and in the last thirty to fifty years of quantum physics.
Because of this new understanding, many modern physicists are now saying that all creation, including the material world, is just different levels of vibrating energy [emphasis, the editor].
Gabriel Cousen's, M.D. quoted from the Forward to Flower Essences and Vibrational Healing by Gurudas
According to Colin R. Lambert, in his book, You Too Can Heal, Energy, Key of the Future, he states, "It has been said that 'Disease' is a battle of vibrations . . ." And truly, if we agree with the modern physicists who contend all there is, is energy--and E = MC2, then all our five senses can perceive and all that is beyond what our five senses can perceive, is energy vibrating at various frequencies. And when that vibration becomes too low, illness and dis-ease are the results whether detected by our senses or not. To heal, then, is to bring balance and harmony back to a system which has fallen out of "pitch" with its own vibrational rate.
Mary Helen - quoted from the Rainbow Medicine Lodge
