Homeless for Three Billion Years! I am Green Carbonate, one of the oldest rocks on Planet Earth. I've spent the last 2.7 billion years lying in the Pre-Cambrian Shield in Northern Ontario, Canada. My light to dark emerald green lustre sets me apart as a one-of-a-kind collectible. I would look simply great as a focal piece sitting on your desk or mantle and you know I'll be around for a time. Geologically I am considered a significant host rock to gold mineralization. I've forfeited 11 million ounces of gold at the Kerr-Addison Mine alone, east of Kirkland Lake.
